Science in the City
Science in the City at the Australian Museum has a reputation for inspiring budding scientists as well as engaging students of all levels. Exhibits, shows, workshops, talks and hands-on science activities for both primary and secondary students.
In 2012, Science in the City will be held over the following dates:
August 7-9 Primary Schools
August 14-16 High Schools
August 10-11 Family fun days
Science in the Suburbs
Science in the Suburbs programs are delivered in partnership with science research and education institutions in suburban Sydney. Modeled on the successful Science in the City event the progams provide students with the opportunity to attend talks, shows, workshops and activities in their local region.
Science in the Bush
Science in the Bush programs are delivered in partnership with rural communities in New South Wales during the school year. Modeled on the successful Science in the City event the programs provide students with the opportunity to attend talks, shows, workshops and activities in their local region.
Science in the Bush Wagga Wagga will be held on the following dates:
March 22 High Schools
March 23 Primary Schools
Science in the Bush Narrabri proposed to be held on the following dates:
October 17 Primary Schools
October 18 High Schools
