Science in the Bush
Science in the Bush brings you exciting exhibits, captivating shows, hands-on workshops and engaging talks about what is happening in science today and what can happen tomorrow!
Based on the highly successful Science in the City at the Australian Museum, we work with local scientists and educators to bring the excitement and discovery of science to school kids in rural NSW.
Science in the Bush presents activities, workshops and talks along with the popular Science in the Bush Expo. Science in the Bush presenters and exhibitors come from a wide range of organisations such as universities, regional museums and local research stations.
In 2010 we have set dates for Science in the Bush in Albury, Wagga Wagga and Dubbo and are hoping to hold events in New England and on the mid-North Coast.
Science in the Bush is brought to you by the Australian Government through the Science Connections Program of the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.
Bookings are essential for these popular activities and numbers are limited - so please check when bookings open so that you can book early to avoid disappointment!
